Keenly COOKIE POLICY

This Cookie Policy explains how Keenly (“Keenly”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit bykeenly.com or use our Service. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies are small files or pieces of information stored on or accessed from your device when you use a website. Similar technologies can include local storage, pixels, software development kits and other identifiers. In this Policy, we refer to these technologies collectively as “cookies”.

Some cookies are necessary for a service to work. Others help measure how a service is used or remember choices.

2. HOW Keenly USES COOKIES

Keenly uses a limited cookie model designed for an early-stage product. We currently expect cookies to fall into the following categories.

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required to provide core functionality such as authentication, account security, session management, fraud prevention, payment flow integrity and storing your privacy choices. They cannot generally be disabled through Keenly’s cookie preference tool because the Service may not function correctly without them.

Analytics cookies

Keenly uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors and users interact with the Service. Analytics may measure information such as pages visited, session activity, device/browser characteristics, approximate location and interaction events. We use this information to understand product performance and improve Keenly.

Analytics is active by default. Advertising is off until you enable it. You can disable analytics using Reject optional or Cookie settings; a saved rejection remains in effect.

3. SERVICES THAT MAY SET OR USE COOKIES

Depending on how you use Keenly, the following providers may use cookies or similar technologies:

• Keenly / Supabase — authentication, sessions, security and core service functionality;
• Stripe — payment, fraud-prevention and checkout functionality when you interact with paid features;
• Google Analytics — optional analytics, subject to applicable consent requirements.

OpenAI and Anthropic are used for AI processing, but their API use does not by itself mean that they set browser cookies on https://bykeenly.com/. Any future browser-facing integrations will be added to the cookie inventory where relevant.

The exact cookie names, providers, purposes and lifetimes can change when vendors update their technology. Keenly should maintain an up-to-date cookie inventory through its consent-management platform or Cookie Settings interface.

4. YOUR CHOICES

When required, Keenly’s cookie banner gives you clear options to:

• Accept all optional cookies;
• Reject non-essential cookies; or
• Manage preferences.

Rejecting optional analytics cookies will not prevent you from using the core Keenly Service.

You can change your choice later using the Cookie settings button below. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal.

You may also use browser controls to delete or block cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies through browser settings may cause parts of Keenly to stop working correctly.

5. DO NOT SELL / TARGETED ADVERTISING

Keenly does not currently use cookies to run third-party behavioral advertising or sell personal data for money. If Keenly later introduces advertising, cross-context behavioral advertising or technologies that trigger additional regional opt-out rights, this Policy and Keenly’s privacy controls will be updated before or when those practices are introduced.

6. COOKIE RETENTION

Cookie lifetimes depend on their purpose. Session cookies may expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain for a defined period or until deleted. Keenly will configure optional analytics retention to a proportionate period and will avoid retaining identifiers longer than reasonably necessary for the stated purpose.

The current cookie preference interface should be treated as the authoritative operational inventory for exact cookie names and durations once production configuration is complete.

7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Cookie Policy when we change providers, analytics tools, consent practices or legal requirements. The current version will be posted on Keenly with the updated date above.
