Keenly PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: 16 September 2026

Keenly (“Keenly”, “we”, “us”) provides an AI-assisted platform that analyzes brand materials from websites and user uploads, creates brand kits and generates merchandise designs and production-ready files. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal data when you visit https://bykeenly.com/ or use Keenly (the “Service”).

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Account and profile data. We may collect your name, email address, authentication information, account identifiers and settings when you create or manage an account.

Project and content data. We process URLs you submit, uploaded logos, images, brand guidelines, fonts and other materials, prompts, project settings, generated brand kits, generated designs and exported files. Content from a submitted URL may incidentally contain personal data. Please only submit materials you are authorized to process.

Usage and technical data. We may collect IP address, browser and device information, approximate location derived from IP, timestamps, pages or features used, diagnostic logs, security events and similar technical information.

Billing data. If you purchase a paid plan, Stripe processes payment-card information. Keenly may receive transaction identifiers, subscription status, billing contact details, invoice information and limited payment metadata. We do not need to store full payment-card details.

Analytics and cookies. With consent where required, we use Google Analytics and similar technologies to understand use of the Service. See our Cookie Policy for details and controls.

Communications. We process information you send to support, feedback or other Keenly contact channels.

2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use personal data to:

  • provide, operate and maintain Keenly;
  • create and secure accounts and authenticate users;
  • fetch and analyze user-selected websites and materials;
  • generate brand kits, designs and production-ready outputs;
  • process subscriptions, payments and billing;
  • provide support and communicate about the Service;
  • monitor reliability, prevent abuse, fraud and security incidents;
  • understand product usage and improve Keenly;
  • comply with law and enforce our Terms and policies.

We do not use customer projects for generalized AI model training by Keenly unless we clearly offer that choice and you opt in, or another lawful basis expressly applies. We do not sell personal data for money.

3. LEGAL BASES FOR EEA/UK USERS

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the legal basis appropriate to the activity: performance of our contract to provide the Service; legitimate interests such as security, fraud prevention, service reliability and product administration; consent for optional analytics, marketing or other activities where consent is required; and compliance with legal obligations.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider the impact on your rights and do not use that basis where your interests or fundamental rights override ours.

4. AI AND TECHNOLOGY PROVIDERS

Keenly uses third-party technology providers to deliver the Service. Relevant project content may be sent to AI providers, including OpenAI and Anthropic, for the purpose of analyzing submitted materials and generating requested outputs. We aim to send only information reasonably necessary for the requested functionality.

We also currently use or expect to use:

  • Supabase — database, authentication and/or storage infrastructure;
  • Stripe — payments and subscription management;
  • Google Analytics — optional product and website analytics.

Additional infrastructure, hosting, email, security or monitoring providers may be added as the Service evolves. Material providers should be reflected in Keenly’s current Subprocessor List and this Policy where appropriate.

5. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION

We may disclose information to service providers acting on our behalf; professional advisers; payment and financial partners; competent authorities where legally required; and a successor or purchaser in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets.

We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to protect Keenly, our users or others, investigate fraud or abuse, or enforce our legal rights, subject to applicable law.

We do not permit service providers to use personal data for unrelated purposes merely because they receive it to provide Keenly functionality.

6. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Keenly is intended for users worldwide and may use providers operating in multiple countries. Personal data may therefore be processed outside your country of residence. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses or other legally recognized mechanisms.

7. DATA RETENTION

We retain account and project data while your account or project remains active and for a limited period afterward where reasonably necessary. Raw website extraction and temporary processing data should be retained only as long as needed for the relevant operation. Security and application logs are retained for limited operational periods. Billing and transaction records may be retained for longer periods where tax, accounting, fraud-prevention or other laws require it.

When you delete an account or project, we will delete or de-identify associated data within a reasonable period, subject to backup cycles and information we must retain for legal, security or billing purposes.

8. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of personal data; receive a portable copy of certain data; withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent; and lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection authority.

You can also manage cookie preferences through Keenly’s Cookie Settings and unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe mechanism provided. Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing already lawfully carried out.

To exercise privacy rights, contact support@bykeenly.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

9. SECURITY

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data, including access controls, encrypted transport, authentication and security monitoring where appropriate. No online service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your credentials and for using Keenly in a secure manner.

10. YOUR CONTENT AND THIRD-PARTY DATA

You are responsible for ensuring that you have a lawful basis and necessary permissions to submit URLs, files and other content to Keenly. Do not submit sensitive personal data or confidential third-party information unless it is necessary, lawful and authorized for processing through the Service.

If you use Keenly on behalf of a business and upload personal data controlled by that business, additional data-processing terms may apply.

11. CHILDREN

Keenly is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly offer the Service to children or knowingly collect personal data from children in circumstances where parental authorization would be required. If you believe a child has provided personal data to Keenly, contact us.

12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Policy as Keenly develops or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version and revise the “Last updated” date. Where required, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
